#Unwined in Tooting Market

Come and join us for or new summer pop up as the girls from “A grape night in” open their own wine bar and shop in Tooting market and invited Rob as first resident chef of the venue. We are glad to help our long time pop up friends Laura and Kiki in their biggest adventure so far and also to be part of what we think it will become the next big gastronomic destination South of the river.

#Unwined, that’s how Laura and Kiki named their brainchild, will run from Monday to Sunday as a shop but it will serve bespoken Backdoor Kitchen style food for lunch from Thursday to Sunday and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays.

As custom with the Backdoor Kitchen we will bring to Tooting our signature bold seasonal flavours unpacked in a 12 plates menu that will match an incredible selection of tipsily, and carefully, selected wines.Expect unusual combinations, seasonal treats, traditional snacks, beautiful cheeses…and gelato of course.

The wine bar will accept both reservations (for groups of or over 6 persons) and walk ins. Seats are limited so if you want to grab some food, make sure you give us a shout. On the other hand you are always welcome to stop by: the waiting and “drinks only” area is huge!

But if you are wise enough you will not miss the chance to book yourself a seat at the #Unwined table for a session of wine and food pairing led by Laura and Kiki  while Rob will send over a selection of some of the best dishes from the A la carte menu. #Unwined sessions will be taken place on Saturday evenings and Sunday lunches.
